There is a slightly different technique in doing acrylic bath repairs as it’s not cast iron or steel like other bath tubs. An acrylic bath chip repair or acrylic shower tray repair needs 24 hours before it can be used again. This gives the new enamel coating enough time to fully dry and cure.


We use the highest quality adhesive primer and enamel for the enamel bath repairs. This ensures that the new enamel we spray on adheres and sticks to the surface. We spend time colour matching your bath or shower tray. We make up the enamel colour on the spot using different tinters!


Believe it or not many baths and shower trays are all different shades of white so we have to find the right colour for your fixture.

Bath Enamel Repair Full Step By Step Procedure:

  1. We inspect the damage of the area. We see the best way to repair the bath, shower tray etc 
  2. We use our high quality adhesive which is put over the damage and this will make the new enamel we put on firmly stick
  3. We fill the crack, hole or chip with a special filler for these fixtures
  4. We let it dry and harden
  5. We then sand it and smooth it off so it’s of the same contour and blending with the surface
  6. We make up the enamel colour on the spot in your home to match the unit. This takes time and we have perfected the way to do this over years of experience 
  7. We use a our own adhesive agent again over the filler to create extra strength in bonding our new enamel surface on
  8. We now spray on the enamel coating with a small spray gun to vanish out the repair with the matched colour we created. The spray gun is created for domestic use
  9. We let it to dry and cure, you can use the bath or shower tray the following day after 24 hours
